This hands-on approach allows him to directly engage with teams, monitor workflows, and tackle any challenges that arise on the ground.

Within workshop operations, Alex ensures that all company machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, optimising production efficiency while prioritising safety and quality. His administrative management skills are equally vital, as he navigates the complex logistical and operational aspects of the business, from financial oversight to compliance with industry regulations.

With a strong background as a qualified Mechanic, Auto Electrician, and Diesel Fitter, Alex possesses a deep understanding of the technical elements of the industry. This expertise not only informs his decision-making but also enables him to trainand mentor his team effectively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the company.

General Manager

With over 25 years of management and supervisory experience across various industries, Jason brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Savage Industries. Of these years, 12 have been dedicated specifically to the mining sector, where he has developed a deep understanding of industry best practices, safety standards, and operational excellence.

Jason’s extensive management background includes overseeing large teams, optimising processes, and driving performance improvements. His hands-on approach, combined with a strategic mindset, enables him to lead with confidence and vision. Jason’s expertise spans project management, resource allocation, safety compliance, and operational efficiency, skills he leverages to improve workflows and reduce costs across our operations.

His primary goal is to further develop Savage Industries into a more operationally efficient and agile business. He is committed to streamlining our processes, enhancing safety protocols, and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget. Jason works closely with our Managing Director, Alex, to formulate strategies that align with our long-term vision, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

With over 8 years of hands-on experience working in the mining industry, primarily on site, Zoe understands the critical importance of maintaining high standards of compliance and ensuring our staff and equipment are always site ready.

Throughout her career, Zoe has developed a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols, industry regulations, and legislative requirements essential in the mining sector.
